Opening an Alert

From the Notifications tab, tap any alert row to open its detail screen. The header shows the alert name, a back arrow to return to Notification, and a ⋮ menu at the top right.

The Alert Detail Screen

The alert detail screen has three tabs: Preview, Notes, and Incidents.

The Preview Tab

Preview is the default tab. It shows everything you need to understand the alert at a glance.

Site and title

The site name appears at the top with a pin icon. Below it, the alert title is displayed in large bold text.

Severity and status

Two chips appear side by side:

  • Severity - Critical, High, Medium, or Low
  • Status - Open, In Progress, Resolved, or Ignored

The time since the alert last fired appears to the right.

Trigger description

A plain-English sentence describes exactly what condition triggered the alert. Key values - device name, metric, threshold, duration, schedule - are bold within the sentence. For example: Incoming Mains's Power is above 50 kW for more than 1 hr.

Recipients

The Recipients row shows avatar chips for everyone who receives this alert.

Acknowledged by

Once someone has acknowledged the alert, an Acknowledged by row appears below Recipients with the user's avatar and name.

Alert Status: What Each State Means

Status Meaning
Open The alert condition is active and no one has responded yet.
In Progress Someone has acknowledged the alert — they're on it.
Resolved The alert has been marked as resolved.
Ignored The alert was dismissed without a response.

Taking Action on an Alert

Actions appear as a full-width blue button at the bottom of the Preview tab. The button shown depends on the alert's current status:

When the alert is Open: A blue Acknowledge button appears. Tap it to acknowledge the alert and move it to In Progress. A confirmation toast appears at the bottom of the screen.

When the alert is In Progress: A blue Mark as resolved button appears. Tap it to mark the alert as Resolved. A confirmation toast confirms the change.

When the alert is Resolved or Ignored: No action button is shown - the alert is already closed.

Note: Which button appears depends on the alert's current status. If you don't see an action button, the alert has already been resolved or ignored.

Push Notification Subscription

Below the Recipients and Acknowledged by rows, a toggle labelled Unsubscribe from this alert's push notifications lets you control whether you receive push alerts for this specific alert.

  • Toggle on (green) - you are subscribed and will receive push notifications when this alert fires.
  • Toggle off - you will not receive push notifications for this alert, even if you are a recipient.

This is a per-alert setting. Turning it off here does not affect push notifications for your other alerts. See Muting Push for a Single Alert article for more detail.

The ⋮ Menu

Tap ⋮ at the top right to access three navigation and sharing options:

  • Go to the Site - opens the site dashboard for the site that triggered this alert.
  • PowerRadar Alert link - copies a deep link directly to this alert.
  • PowerRadar Trigger link - copies a link to the underlying alert rule.
