Multi-Page Dashboards with Auto-Rotation

What changed

A dashboard was previously capped at 8 widgets on a single screen. Now a dashboard can span up to 3 pages, each holding up to 9 widgets - up to 27 widgets in total - and the pages auto-rotate with a cross-fade, looping continuously. This is available on every package - it isn't restricted to a specific plan.

Why it matters

If you display a dashboard on a wall-mounted TV on a factory floor or assembly line, you're no longer limited to 8 widgets or forced to build separate dashboards and switch between them by hand. One dashboard can now cycle through all of a line's key metrics on its own.

Building a Multi-Page Dashboard

Open a dashboard for editing to add pages and widgets:

1. Add widgets to a page as you always have. Click Add widget to add another - a counter next to it (for example, 3/9) shows how many you've added to that page.
2. Once a page reaches 9 widgets, hovering over Add widget shows: "This page is full. Remove a widget or add another page."
3. Click the + button next to the page tabs to add a new page - up to 3 pages per dashboard. Trying to add a 4th shows: "Maximum of 3 tabs reached. Close a tab to add a new one."
4. Pages are named Page 1, Page 2, Page 3 by default. Use Rename page to give a page its own title.
5. Switch between pages while editing by clicking their tabs.
6. Choose how long each page shows before rotating to the next with Rotate every - Off, 10s, 15s, 20s, 30s, or 60s (15s is the default).

Note: The 3-page limit message refers to "tabs" rather than "pages" - the two terms mean the same thing here.

While editing, rotation is paused - pages only change when you click between their tabs yourself. This is intentional, so the dashboard doesn't rotate away from you mid-edit.

Watching It Rotate

Outside of editing, a dashboard with more than one page rotates on its own: each page fades into the next, loops back to page 1 after the last page, and repeats indefinitely. If a dashboard only has one page, nothing changes - no rotation, and no page controls appear.

A floating control appears over the bottom of a multi-page dashboard: a play/pause icon, plus one dot for each page. While it's rotating, hovering the icon shows "Stop the dashboard from rotating." While it's stopped, hovering the same icon shows "Rotate through the dashboard pages." The dot for the page currently showing fills in as a live countdown - hover it to see the seconds left (for example, 20s).

Click any dot to jump straight to that page. Doing so also stops rotation - click the icon again if you want it to keep cycling.

Note: Rotation does not pause automatically just because your mouse is hovering over the dashboard - use the pause icon if you want to stop it while you read a page.

Presenting on a TV or Big Screen

Click the fullscreen icon to present a dashboard full-screen - the same fullscreen mode you may already use. Fullscreen view also now shows the Panoramic Power logo in the top-right corner of the header, so a dashboard on a factory-floor TV carries your branding. The same play/pause + page-dot control from normal view appears here too, so you can still jump between pages or pause rotation while presenting.

TimeView Improvements and Fixes

New Device Configuration Fields

Current Factor and CT Rate are now available on two screens: the Deployment Tool (Configuration → Deployment Tool, then expand a device to see its sensor row) and the Device configuration panel you can open from a device in the TimeView tree. Both are read-only in either place: they display a value already configured for that sensor, not a field you edit from these screens.

In the Device configuration panel, Current Factor sits inside the Sensor Information block on the right, as the last row for each sensor - after Sensor Type, Serial Number, Power Factor, and Model.

• Current Factor appears only when the sensor has a value set for it.
• CT Rate appears only on sensors where it's required, and only when a value is set.

Smaller Improvements

• No more zero line for future dates. If your selected time range extends past today, the TimeView chart no longer draws a flat line at zero for the days that haven't happened yet.
• The Power/Energy dropdown closes more reliably. Clicking anywhere outside the Power/Energy selector now closes it in a single click. Previously this sometimes took more than one click.
• Tooltip icons realigned. The small circle and temperature icons in the chart tooltip were shifted slightly to the left; they now line up correctly with their labels.

Bug Fixes

Statistics now work correctly on generation sensors. The Statistics category in the Chart series add-ons panel - Average, Median, Percentile range, and similar reference lines - previously looked available on generation sensors but silently did nothing due to an internal bug. It now works the same way it does on consumption sensors: a generation sensor gets its own statistics, calculated from its own data. Statistics require the Optimize package.

Power add-ons restored for PAN-42 generation sensors. Three items in the Overrides category of the Chart series add-ons panel - Apparent power, Power factor (PF), and Reactive power (kVAr) - had gone missing specifically for generation sensors on PAN-42 devices. They now appear the same way they do for consumption sensors on PAN-42 devices, each marked PAN-42 only.

Outside temperature in Compare Mode: axis and legend updates. When Compare Mode is active with the outside temperature layer on, the temperature axis now scales to fit both the current and the compared period, instead of only the current one. The temperature legend symbol also changed, to a dotted line shown for both Current and Compared entries.

Meters panel no longer resizes when the legend is toggled. Opening or closing the Legend panel was changing the width of the meters/device panel next to it. Each panel now keeps its own width regardless of what you do with the other.

Stepping through a custom date range that spans full months now moves by exactly one month. If you set a custom time range that happens to span one or more full calendar months, the back/forward controls now step by exactly that many calendar months. The dedicated Month and Year time-range presets were not affected by this - they already stepped correctly.

Removed a broken link from the Other Sites list. In the TimeView tree's Other Sites section, an icon that let you jump directly to another site was linking incorrectly. That icon is no longer clickable; the site marker itself still appears, just without the broken link.
