Cross-site presets, smoother re-logins, and important data consistency fixes in TimeView
Table of Contents
Presets — Smarter Handling of Cross-Site Data
Presets now handle cross-site data more intelligently. When a saved preset references entities from a site that's no longer accessible to you, the system now detects this gracefully — preventing errors and providing a clearer experience when working with shared or migrated presets.
This is especially helpful for users managing portfolios where site access may change over time, ensuring your saved views remain usable even as your scope evolves.
Re-Login Continuity - Pick Up Right Where You Left Off
If your session expires and you're redirected to the login page, you'll now be returned to the exact page you were viewing after signing back in. No more retracing your steps to get back to a deeply nested chart, dashboard, or report — the platform remembers where you were and brings you right back.
Bug Fixes & Reliability Improvements
- Consistent TimeView data presentation - Fixed a discrepancy where the new TimeView and the legacy TimeView could display the same device, period, and view with slightly different data. Both views now align consistently.
- Custom report request form - Resolved an error that prevented users from submitting requests for custom report development. The form now works as expected.
- Performance and stability under the hood - Broad set of internal code quality improvements across TimeView Pro, Reports, Inventory & Device Groups, Packages, Dashboards, and shared UI components. Not visible directly, but improves long-term reliability and performance.
