Cookies and other tracking technologies (including similar technologies such as pixels and SDKs) are used on our websites and on our online platform to help our services function, improve performance, and understand usage. This Policy explains how Panoramic Power Ltd. (“Panoramic”) uses cookies and similar technologies and forms part of our Privacy Notice. By using our websites or platform, you acknowledge that cookies and similar technologies may be used as described in this Policy and, where required by law, subject to your choices and consent.

Cookies explained

A clear concise guide to cookies

We explain the basics of what cookies are and what they do and talk about the different types of cookies you will find. We also cover why cookies can be helpful to you and explain that you have the option to control which cookies your browser accepts.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a piece of text that is stored on your computer or mobile device by your web browser.

How long will cookies stay on my browsing device?

Session cookies are removed from your device when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device after you close your browser until they expire or are deleted.

First and third-party cookies

‘First party cookies’ are cookies that are set by Panoramic when you use our services. ‘Third-party cookies’ are cookies that are set by third parties (for example, analytics, customer support or other service providers) when you use our Services. Each third party is responsible for its use of cookies and similar technologies under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review. We do not always control how third-party cookies are used.

How we use cookies and similar technologies

We classify cookies used on our Services into categories, including: strictly necessary, performance/analytics, functionality, and advertising/targeting (including social media). Not all categories are used on all parts of our Services. Details of cookies used (including by key third-party providers where applicable) are described in the "Our Cookies" section below.

Cookies which are essential so you can move around and use our Services and their features - Strictly necessary.

Cookies which help us understand how our Services are used so we can measure and improve performance - Performance/Analytics.

Cookies which remember choices you make and allow us to provide enhanced features - Functional.

Cookies used to deliver and measure advertising, enable retargeting, or integrate certain social media features - Advertising/Targeting and Social Media. Whether we use these cookies depends on the relevant site/service and your choices, as described below.

Cookie consent (where required).

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Services to operate and do not require consent under certain laws. Non-essential cookies (including performance/analytics, functionality and advertising/targeting cookies) may require your consent depending on your location and applicable law. Where required, we will request your consent via our cookie banner or similar mechanism, and you can withdraw or change your choices at any time through the relevant cookie settings.

The benefits of cookies

By using cookies, a site ‘knows’ that you have been there before, and in some cases, tailors web content to take account of this based on what you have looked at or done previously. For instance, it can be helpful to vary content according to whether this is your first ever visit to a site – or if you are a regular website visitor. Some cookies are more sophisticated. They might record how long you spend on each page on a site, what links you click, even your preferences for page layouts and colour schemes. They can also be used to store data on what is in your ‘shopping cart’, adding items as you click.

Concerns about cookies

There is nothing secret about the information gathered by cookies, but you may be concerned about what your web behaviour is being used for. For transparency we provide a list of our third party tracking cookies with information about how to opt out of them if you wish in Our Cookies section.

Control your cookies

Almost all web browsers allow you the option to block cookies. That means you can block all cookies or you can choose which ones to accept. This can however make browsing difficult – some sites do not work or work less well with cookies turned off. For instructions on how to manage your cookie privacy setting in your browser see our section on Cookie browser options.

Our Cookie Policy

An overview of the different types of cookies we use on our websites

You should be aware that when you use our websites, mobile sites, or mobile apps, we may collect information by using cookies and similar technologies. Where required by applicable law, we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies. We and our third-party partners may set a range of cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website. The types of cookies used on our site can generally be put into one of the following categories: strictly necessary, performance, functionality and targeting. These categories are explained in more detail below. For a list of the cookies and similar technologies we use on our websites and platform, please see the Our Cookies section.

Essential for making our site work properly (Strictly Necessary)

These cookies are essential to make our site work. They let you move around the website and use its essential features. Without these cookies, services that are necessary for you to be able to use our site such as accessing secure areas cannot be provided. These cookies don't gather any information about you that could be used for marketing or remembering where you've been on the internet. We use these Strictly Necessary cookies to:

Identify you as being logged in to our website.

Make sure you connect to the right service on our website when we make any changes to the way the website works.

Cookies we have defined as ‘Strictly Necessary’ cookies will not be used to:

Gather information that could be used to advertise products or services to you.

Remember your personal preferences beyond your current visit.

Accepting these cookies is a condition of using the website, so if you prevent these cookies we can’t guarantee your security or predict how our website will perform during your visit.

Collect information about how you use our website (Performance)

‘Performance’ cookies collect information about how you use our website, e.g. which pages you visit, how often and if you experience any errors. These cookies don’t collect any information that could identify you – all the information collected is only used to help us improve how our website works, understand what interests our users and measure how effective our advertising is. We use Performance cookies to:

Provide statistics on how our website is used.

Help us improve the website by measuring any errors that occur.

Test different designs of our website.

Where required by applicable law, we will ask for your consent before using Performance cookies. If you disable these cookies, we may have less information available to help us understand and improve how our site performs.

Our Cookie and SDK Inventory

We maintain lists of the cookies and similar technologies used on:

- Our marketing websites (pre-login); and

- Our platform (post-login).

These lists describe, where applicable, the technology or provider name, whether the technology is first or third party, the purpose, and whether it is session-based, persistent, or an app SDK technology (including expiry where available).

Used to provide services or to remember settings to improve your visit (Functionality)

‘Functionality’ cookies are used to provide services or to remember settings to improve your visit. We use functionality cookies to:

Remember settings and personal preferences you’ve applied such as layout, text size, preferences and colours.

Cookies defined as ‘Functionality’ will not be used to target you with adverts on other websites.

Preventing these cookies may mean we can’t offer you some services, and will reduce the support we can offer you. It’s also possible that preventing these cookie stops us remembering that you didn’t want a specific service.

Targeting cookies and third-party services

We do not currently use Targeting cookies on our Services. If that changes, we will update this Policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent before using them.

Your choices and controls (disabling cookies)

If you do not want us to use cookies in your browser, you can remove cookies from your device, and you can set your browser to block cookies or to send a warning notice before a cookie is stored. Please note that blocking certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Services, including access to secure areas. For more information, see our Cookie browser options. You may also be able to opt out of certain advertising cookies via industry mechanisms (for example, www.youronlinechoices.eu where applicable).

Any questions?

Updates to this Policy

We may update this Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. Material changes will be effective after posting the updated Policy and, where required, after we obtain your consent.
